Dr. Andrea Roccuzzo completed his studies in dentistry (DDS) at the University of Torino before been awarded an IAO Scholarship at the University of Copenhagen. He completed Master in Periodontology and Implant Dentistry (MAS) as well as a double Doctorate (Dr. med. dent.; PhD) before becoming “Privatedozent” in Periodontology and Implant Dentistry at the University of Bern. He is a certified Periodontist by European Federation of Periodontology as well as by the Swiss Society of Periodontology. He is past ITI Scholar, winner of the André Schroeder Prize (Pre-Clinical & Clinical Research), ITI Fellow and Member of the Editorial Board of the Forum Implantologicum. Currently, he is Full Professor in Periodontology and Implant Dentistry at the Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Shanghai – China.

Dr. Ferruccio Torsello specializes in orthodontics, periodontics, and implant dentistry. A graduate of the Catholic University of Rome, he completed postgraduate studies and a PhD, with additional training at Aarhus University and Eastman Dental Hospital. An award-winning researcher, he has published over 30 papers and is actively involved in ITI and EAO. He runs a multidisciplinary dental practice in Rome while contributing to clinical research.

Dr. Florin Cofar co-founded Smilecloud, a smile-design and centralized collaboration platform. He specializes in complex esthetic rehabilitation and minimally invasive procedures. He received his education from Victor Babes University in Timisoara with specialization at NYU University of Dentistry and Harvard Business School.

Prof. Zucchelli graduated with a degree in dentistry from the University of Bologna in Italy in 1988 and obtained a PhD in Medical Biotechnology from the same university in 1999. He became a Full Professor and Dean of the Periodontal Department at the University of Bologna in 2000, where he has been awarded numerous awards for clinical research in periodontology in Europe and the United States. He won The AAP Foundation-E Bud Tarrson Research Award in Oral Plastic Surgery in 2006 and 2008. In 2020, he was awarded Honorary membership of the AAP, and he served as President of the Italian Academy of Osteointegration from 2020 to 2022. He is an active member of various organizations, including the European Academy of Esthetic Dentistry, the Italian Society of Periodontology, and the Italian Academy of Osteointegration. He is also an author of two books, “Mucogingival Esthetic Surgery” published in 12 languages and “Mucogingival Esthetic Surgery around Implants,” published in 2022 by Quintessence.

Dr. Mario Roccuzzo is a adjunct professor in the Division of Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Turin, Italy and Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Periodontics and Oral Medicine at the University of Michigan, USA. Dr. Roccuzzo teaches periodontology for several Master’s courses at the Universities of Turin, Bologna and Milan . He is an ITI Fellow, former Chair of the ITI Section Italy, chair of the Leadership Development Committee, and the ITI Study Club Director in Turin. He serves on the editorial board of Clinical Oral Implants Research, the International Journal of Esthetic Dentistry, and the International Journal of Periodontics & Restorative Dentistry. Dr. Roccuzzo has been invited to lecture in more than 50 countries on every continent. He was distinguished for the best clinical presentation at the 2009 EAO Congress and for the best published research article by the German Society of Periodontology in 2010. Winner of the 2013 Osteology Clinical Research Prize, and in 2015 of the best clinical presentation at the SIDO International Congress. He maintains a private practice limited to periodontology and implantology in Turin. He is the co-author of the recent book “Peri-implant Soft-Tissue Integration and Management”.

Massimo Frosecchi was graduated in Dentistri in 1992. Since the beginning of his professional live he worked in the fields of Oral surgery and prosthodontics. International speaker and ITI fellow since 2008, was speaker in congresses and courses in Italy and 28 foreign countries. ITI Study Club director in Toscana. Prof. a c. In Implantology at university of Genova, Italy, is active member of IAO (Italian academy of osseointegration), AIOM (associazione italiana di odontoiatria microscopica), IPA (international piezosurgery academy). Author of scientific articles in the field of implantology. Private practice in its clinic in Florence.

Matteo Chiapasco graduated in Medicine in 1984 and specialized in maxillofacial surgery at the University of Milan, Italy in 1990. He is at present Professor and Head Unit of Oral Surgery, Department of Biomedical, Surgical and Dental Sciences, University of Milan, Italy.
ITI Fellow, President of the Italian Section of ITI from 2007 to 2011, President of the Italian Society of Osseointegration (SIO) from 2014 to 2016, Founder of the Italian Academy of osseointegration (IAO) in 2016, Member of The European Board of Oral and Maxillo-Facial Surgeons since 1996.
His main fields of interest are oral and maxillofacial surgery, with particular attention to orthognatic surgery and advanced implant dentistry (reconstructions for severe atrophy, tumor defects, trauma sequelae, congenital malformations).
He has extensively lectured on these topics all over the world in the last 20 years.
He has published more than 150 peer reviewed articles on international journals and his H-Index is at present 50

Si occupa esclusivamente di chirurgia orale e maxillo-facciale, con particolare attenzione alle tecniche di implantologia avanzata e di chirurgia ortognatica.

Ha tenuto innumerevoli conferenze in Italia e nel resto del mondo su questi temi a partire dal 1992.

Dr. Piero Papi is currently enrolled as Researcher and Assistant Professor at the Department of Oral and Maxillo-Facial Sciences, at “Sapienza” University of Rome, where he has completed his PhD focusing on bone and tissue regeneration. In 2020 he has received the National Scientific Qualification to the position of tenured Associate Professorship in dentistry in Italy. Visiting Scholar in 2016 at the University Complutense of Madrid, under the supervision of Prof. G. Pradies, and Visiting Researcher at the UCL Eastman Dental Institute in 2019, under the supervision of Prof. F. D’Aiuto. Winner of the “Young Pro Award” for best researcher under 35 in the field of biomaterials in 2018. Winner of the ITI Research Large Grant and of several international and national research awards in the field of oral implantology, his research areas include mainly peri-implantitis and peri-implant hard and soft tissues augmentation procedures. Lecturer at the Master course in Implantology at “Sapienza”, He is the author of more than 50 publications in international scientific journals. Reviewer and Editorial Board member for several journals, he is the ITI Co-director of the ITI study club “Roma”, a SidP and IAO member. International speaker and opinion leader for botiss biomaterials and Straumann.

Ronald E. Jung is trained in prosthodontics, implant therapy and oral surgery. He is the Chairman and Clinic Director for the Clinic of Reconstructive Dentistry, at the Center for Dental Medicine, University of Zürich, Switzerland.
In 2006 he worked as Visiting Associate Professor at the Department of Periodontics at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, USA.
2008 he finalized his „Habilitation“ (venia legendi) in dental medicine and was appointed at the University of Zürich.
In 2011 he received his PhD doctorate degree of the University of Amsterdam, ACTA dental school, The Netherlands.
In 2013 he worked as Visiting Associate Professor at the Department of Restorative Dentistry and Biomaterials Sciences at Harvard School of Dental Medicine in Boston, USA.
In 2015 he has been promoted to full Professorship for Implantology at the University of Zurich and was Head of the Division of Implantology at the Clinic of Reconstructive Dentistry, Center for Dental Medicine, University of Zurich, until January 2022.
In 2022 he has been appointed Chairman and Ordinary Professor for Reconstructive Dentistry at the University of Zürich.
He is an accomplished and internationally renowned lecturer and researcher, best known for his work in the field of hard and soft tissue management and his research on new technologies in implant dentistry.
He is currently President-elect of the International Team for Implantology (ITI), Past President of the European Association for Osseointegration (EAO), Past President of the Swiss Society of Reconstructive Dentistry and a member of the Board of Directors of the Osteology Foundation.
