Silvia Musella is a passionate dental hygienist based in Milan, whose early experiences of fear and anxiety around the dentist inspired a dedication to prevention and patient comfort. She earned her degree in Dental Hygiene with honors from the University of Pisa and initially practiced in Tuscany before relocating to Milan in 2016 to work in a larger, more dynamic clinical setting.
Her professional development has been marked by advanced training in minimally invasive techniques: she completed a Master’s in Dental Hygiene under Dr. Ghezzi, focusing on modern approaches to periodontal and cariological care, and also participated in the Periocampus Foundation Course led by Prof. Filippo Graziani.
From 2012 to 2014, she engaged in research in perio-medicine at the University of Pisa, exploring the connections between periodontal disease and systemic health.
At Studio Bormida, she not only focuses on preserving the health of teeth and gums, but also on educating her patients. She emphasizes lifestyle, nutrition, and good habits, and organizes visits to primary schools to instill awareness of dental prevention in children.
Silvia believes that a healthy mouth is foundational to overall well-being, and strives to empower her patients with knowledge, gentle care, and enthusiasm.
